              2292.  Walter Lincoln Reid, b May 23.87, enlisted in U. S. Naval Reserves Pelham Bay Camp, N. Y., Mar. '18 as 1st class seaman; entered Naval Auxillary Reserve Officers School, De. '18; discharhed, South Ferry, N. Y. City, Feb. '19.

              2712.  Eugene Hendrix Bishop, enlisted in the N. C.  National Guard, Apr. 25.17; transferred to Air Services, Jan. '18; commissioned 2nd Lt. & stationed at Millington, Tennessee and Arcada, Fla.; discharged June 9.19.

               2972. Ford George Bishop entered service in Co. C, 319th Infantry, 80th Div., June 24.18; discharged June 12.19; participated in the battle of Argonnes; he was b. Aug. 8.95.

               In D. A. R. Lineage vol. 125 p. 143 is found:

[handwritten "12"] His son, Samuel Bishop, Jr., sergeant in Capt. Timothy Stanley's Co., in 1777, Conn. troops, b. 1731 in Guilford, d. Hudson, Ohio, m. (2) 1770 Lois Gaylord (1751-1820). Their daughter:

                 Phoebe Bishop, m. Gad Hollenbeck (1783-1863). Their daughter,
                 Emma Sturdevant, b. 1845 m. 1871 Geo. W. Phelps,
                 Fanny Phelps, b. Portage, Ohio, m. J. Maurice Martin.
